With Devolutions Password Server

Devolutions Launcher opens remote connections from Devolutions Password Server Web Interface. Ensure you are logged in to Devolutions Password Server in Devolutions Launcher.

Devolutions Launcher currently supports five types of remote connections.

Procedure

 

1. In Devolutions Password Server Web Interface, open a session by clicking the play button RibbonOpenedSmallor Open session in the right-click contextual menu.

2. Confirm you want to open Devolutions Launcher. This pop-up window is managed by the browser and appears the first time you open a session with Devolutions Launcher. Usually, there is an option to remember your choice so you will not be prompted each time you open a session.

The remote connection opens automatically in a separate window.

OPTION

DESCRIPTION

Dock

Re-docks a session window when it was floated.

Float

Floats sessions in a grid view, so they can be monitored simultaneously.

Close

Closes the session.

Close all but this

Closes sessions except active session.

New horizontal tab group

Creates a second horizontal window pane to display sessions. When in use, the option Move to previous tab group becomes available in the contextual menu.

New vertical tab group

Creates a second vertical window pane to display sessions. When in use, the option Move to previous tab group becomes available in the contextual menu.

Closed Panels

Reopens recently closed remote connections.

 

Undock a session

Click the tab with the session title and move the selected session away from the main window. To redock the session, move it back in line with other entries.

Float sessions

Divide the screen into 2-4 compartments to view more sessions simultaneously.

 

1. Click the title tab and move the selected session until the float overlay appears.
